This is really cool. I really like the effect at the start. Good job man! I really wish there were only a couple of “textures” though. This many can be disorienting, or it might just have been me. XD
Thanks, yeah it's a bit disorienting ^^ I was thinking about to make it wireframe, to render only the cube edges. But then again, it's just a fun project, some ascii-acrobatics and not a real game.

Thank you. Was actually relatively easy. You render like usual in a simple raycaster, but then set letters of 40 lines, instead of drawing pixels. In that sense it has a 80x40 resolution, with a 1:1.5 pixel aspect ratio ^^. What usually takes the most time is the debugging, when porting something to javascript.
